Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Pokinight collects, why, and who it is shared with. We do not sell your information.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, username, date of birth, and state of residence. Your password is stored only as a secure hash.
  • Game activity: your coin balance and coin history, the tables you join, and the hands you play.
  • Technical data: your IP address, the approximate region it indicates, and a random device identifier stored in your browser.

2. How we use it

  • To run your account and the games, and to keep your coin balance accurate.
  • To check that you are 18 or older and not in a location where the service is unavailable.
  • To keep play fair: detecting multiple accounts, collusion, and chip dumping, and limiting abuse such as repeated sign-up attempts.
  • To send account emails, such as email verification and password reset.

3. What other players see

Other players see your username, your seat, your chips at the table, and your actions in a hand. They never see your email address or personal details.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and browser storage for the device identifier described above. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers that run the service for us: website hosting, game server hosting, database hosting, and email delivery. If coin purchases are offered, payments are handled by a payment processor, and we never see your full card number. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect players and the service.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is open. Coin records and hand histories are kept as an audit trail, including after an account is closed, so balances and fair play can be verified.

7. Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account by emailing us at the address below. Some records may be kept as described above.

8. Children

Pokinight is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
